Why do I love this little black dress? I can layer over or under it with ease. It's stretchy (aka super comfortable) and travels very well (thank you poly blend).
It goes from day to night, casual to dressy and doesn't need ironing or special care in the washer.
Basically it is one piece where I can do no wrong.
I bought it through TJ Maxx a few years back. It is by Cynthia Rowley.
Oh! I forgot to mention the BEST thing...it has pockets! I know, sounds silly but a dress without pockets is like the sky without the sun for me.
As far as styling little black dresses go, the sky is the limit. They will work with almost anything you throw at them.
Pop some bold pink or red shoes on, add a bright blazer.
Do you like scarves? Add one.
Or simply skip all the extra colour and add bling instead.
It's up to you and what you feel like that day. Little black dresses are one of the most forgiving adaptable, easy going pieces you will ever have in your closet.
