Happy Birthday to my husband...away again for his birthday...miss you baby!
I took this photo while we were at the Art Gallery of Ontario viewing Lost in the Memory Palace, a unique exhibit based on sound and how we respond to it.
This is one of my favourite ways to spend a day, visit to an art gallery, then a lovely supper
and home in time for drinks. One might think it was my birthday instead of hubby's.
What is your favourite way to spend a day with your significant other?
This is a BIG thanks to everyone that showed up in Kitchener this past weekend for ScrapFest. You really made it worthwhile. It was so great catching up with everyone I hadn't seen in years.
I've been scrapbooking and designing for the crafting market since 2001...my how time flies! I created my first PDQ (Pretty Darn Quick) and Album in an Afternoon designs in 2005. I plugged away at promoting that brand and idea for over 6 years before moving into strictly digital designs and licensing my stamp designs.
I was delighted and amazed after not having exhibited at ScrapFest in Kitchener for over 2 years to have so many people remember myself and my designs from waaaay back in the day. People remembered me from the first retail show we ever did in Paris Ontario...what must have been some 10 years ago now.
Funny enough some people even came up to me this weekend and said, "oh this looks like pumped up PDQ...do you know PDQ? " LOL
In some ways it made me satisfied knowing that some of my marketing had paid off after all these years and that the brand had finally gained some traction...albeit far too late in a market that has declined steadily over the past 6 years.
Connecting with people that have been there, supporting my work and my designs after so many years really made my heart swell. Thanks guys! It has been a real pleasure getting to know you and letting me help you preserve your precious family memories.
I will be exhibiting at ScrapFest in Kitchener on Friday night and Saturday this weekend. I have my fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate.
Everything in my booth is on sale at rock bottom pricing. An Album in an Afternoon Scrapbooking kit that was listed at $15.99 is now $6 with a full sheet of chipboard stickers included (reg value $5.99). That is a savings of $15.98! Don't miss out...normally this will be the last scrapbooking show I do.
I'm currently participating in a big giveaway on DIY Louisville. I will be giving away 5 different Album in an Afternoon scrapbooking kits.
These are meant for people that want to make something that looks great and professional but only takes minutes rather than hours or days to put together.
I'm leaving for ScrapFest today. I'll be there tonight and Saturday in Oshawa. All Bisous Scrapbooks stock is on sale. Everything will be 50% off of already reduced pricing...less than wholesale. If you want in on it be sure to get there early as I will have limited stock in certain items.
There aren't too many things as sweet and simple as going out to your garden and picking some fresh vegetables for lunch. These are the things I miss the most when winter comes around again.
Just finished this page. I'm working on a new digital kit for version 4 of Memory Mixer software and took advantage to show off some pics I took last week.
One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to lay together in the hammock, hence the name of the post, ( I don't have a photo of that since I was too lazy to go and get the tripod and set it up). Another favorite is to drink one of my special fresh-from-the-garden mint cocktails on the deck. Eating some of my Mexican salad al fresco style is also high up on the list of favorite summertime activities.
